Question: Can this be rubbed on chest like vicks?
Answer: it is formulated as a pain relief salve for muscles not a breathing/congestion vapor. -
Question: Is this stronger in heat than tiger balm?
Answer: If you mean does it have a stronger sensation on your skin, then, I would say no. I don't find that it has the warming/menthol-like/tingling that I get from Tiger Balm. However, it does seem to provide similar results. It also has a pleasant aroma. Hope this helps... -
Question: Can you use this with toddlers 4 year old ?
Answer: I would Not recommend using Badger Balm on a 4-year old. It is composed of Cayenne Pepper and Ginger, so it would likely feel much too hot on a toddler's delicate skin. I suggest you visit your local drugstore and ask to speak to a pharmacist (a REAL pharmacist, not an assistant). Ask the pharmacist to recommend a muscle rub that is mild enough for a toddler's skin. Better yet, if the child has suffered a sore place from a bump or such, then hand-rub it with plain baby lotion, and gently massage the sore spot for 10-15 minutes or so. Repeat it as often as the child wants it -- it's a lovely way to show your love. -
Question: is this better than arnica gel ?
Answer: I use this product all the time and have for many years. Great for muscles, joints, and especially arthritis. I have used the Badger for joints as well and that has Arnica in it, but my "go to" one is the muscle rub.
