    • Question: How many caps in the bottle? the label say 60 and the add say 250 caps?

      Answer: 240 capsules if u look good at the label it says 240 capsu
    • Question: Is this product vegan?

      Answer: The information on the bottle states that it is non-GMO, veg capsules, 100% kosher, but no reference to being vegan.
    • Question: Other Ingredients: Hypromellose (capsule) - does any one know about this ingredient?

      Answer: A lot of capsules are made out of it now as an alternative to the old animal-based gelatins. It's a gelatinous form of sugar sometimes used as a thickener. It's completely inert and harmless, from everything I've ever heard.
    • Question: I wish you show the ingredients .. Concerned with magnesium stearate

      Answer: According to the bottle there are no ingredients added. It is only fresh freeze dried complete complex of the ingredients found in the fresh whole seed. Only the water has been removed, nothing has been added. It goes on to say that in addition to the Silymarin, many other constituents from the fresh seed remain in tact including flavonoids and phytosterols. There is no mention of magnesium stearate whatsoever.
    • Question: One reviewer (a "master herbalist") states that this product does not contain milk thistle. Can anyone state with certainty that this is true?

      Answer: The label states that this product contains organic freeze-dried milk thistle seed (Silybum Marianum) and silymarin which is is a flavonolignans extracted from the milk thistle Silybum marianum (L.) gaernt, along with hypromellose, the capsule the milk thistle is packaged in. Seems to me that this product contains only milk thistle except for the capsule. I've been taking it for years and never heard of someone questioning its authenticity. Hope that helps.

    I haven't started taking it yet, so I have nothing yet to say about effectiveness or side effects. I bought this milk thistle product because it's freeze-dried, as Dr. Berg recommends in one of his videos.

    Not strong enough
    Only 2.4 - 5% similarin. Other brands are up to 80%. I have purchased another brand.

    The bottle label was not attached to the bottle. So I had to tape it on.
    I have been using this product for the purposes stated on the label. What I don't understand is why the label is not glued on the bottle. This was the second time that happened.
