Answer: I would say it's an artificially grow Spirulina (from explanation of Nature's way - Spirulina grown in environmentally controlled cement ponds). At the description on the bottle - it's not marked as an organic. -

Question: what is te difference between this and algae based omega-3 supplements. Is this an omega-3 supplement?
Answer: Spirulina contains a protein and only a small amount both, omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids. One tablespoon contains (0.24 oz) Omega-3 supplement is a “fish oil”. -
