    The Quickie Poly Fiber Whisk Broom features strong poly fibers that are made for indoor and outdoor use and won't break or leave a mess. This Whisk Broom is easy to clean - simply rinse over water and reuse. The broom features blue colored fibers with a white comfort grip handle. Quickie designs, manufactures and distributes over 300 cleaning products for traditional in-home use as well as contractor and DIY grade applications. The product line includes mops, brooms, dusters, dustpans, brushes, buckets and other supplies.

    • Question: Are the Poly fibers stiff enough to brush lint off a wool ooat, as can be none with the straw whisk?

      Answer: After my previous response, I thought about a way that this brush might brush lint off of a wool coat. The fibers are quite long so you could hold and squeeze the bristles/fibers close enough to the end to make them stiff enough to brush the lint off of a wool coat.
    • Question: How long is this brush, from the tip of the handle to the tip of the bristles ?

      Answer: 11.75 inches. I love this brush
    • Question: Does this work on area rugs?

      Answer: Like any broom, it works best on smooth surfaces, rather than textured surfaces. But unlike corn brooms, it doesn't snag and lose bristles on textured surfaces. The effectiveness on any particular area rug depends on the type of area rug. I've had reasonable success on the several rugs I use in my RV.
    • Question: How wide ?

      Answer: About 3 1/2 inches wide. For certain jobs there is nothing better than this little whisk broom with STIFF bristles.
    • Question: In which country are they made?

      Answer: No markings on the brush, but more than likely it's made in China. It's not the greatest either. The ones like the old brooms are better.
    • Question: Do you think this would work well for sweeping out a fireplace? Or are the bristles not strong enough?

      Answer: I got this brush specifically to sweep & clean the inside of my wood stove, and it works very well! The bristles are plenty strong for the job, I recommend it -
    • Question: How long are the bristles?

      Answer: The blue bristle part is about 4-1/2 inches long.
    • Question: How stiff are the bristles? I need it for brushing upholstery.

      Answer: In my humble Interior Designer opinion, I'd say this whisk broom is perfect for brushing upholstery. I use mine regularly. It's bristles are quite stiff and don't seem to shed like other whisks can. The plastic coating over the bristles is a plus! Your question reminds me that I want to purchase another one. One for indoor and the other for outdoor to use on the porch furniture.

    This brush is perfect for dusting and cleaning tight or small spaces. Very durable, will last a lifetime.

    Great for my car
    I bought this specifically for my car. It's perfect for quick cleanups and getting down into the well on the door side of the seats. I find it especially useful in winter to quickly clean the mats after tracking salt and de-icer pebbles in my boot treads. Handy little gadget that I keep in the pocket of my seatback.

    Perfect for my job..
    I bought this brush to use to sweep lint, etc. From the bottom of my washer. I couldn't reach it with my hands. Perfect for this purpose..

    Who knew wisk brooms could be such a blessing!
    I have a robot vac and I love it BUT it does not clean corners well at all. The filters need cleaning and I have alergies and asthma so I have to wear a face mask and gloves to clean it, but with my trusty wisk broom these problems are no more. This little helper is washable, great to have that, and is sturdy, easy to use and does a terrific job. This was a little bit of money well spent. Love my new wisk broom!
