Question: Does this contain 2 cane tips or just one?
Answer: The one I carry does contain two tips. -
Question: Would this tip leave marks on a wood floor?
Answer: Mine has not, I have wood floors at home, and elsewhere... hope this helps. -
Question: I've had my cane since 1971, and still with the original tip. Are most sold on the market today so inferior that I have to buy a replacement in pairs?
Answer: What I've found is that NO!, todays tips aren't inferior. But, when you need to buy a replacement they can't be found in singles, OR it's cheaper to buy a pair of them. Usually they come in pairs only. -
Question: My cane diameter is 15/16. Do i use an ich or 7/8" tip?
Answer: Go with the inch size. 7/8 is 14/16 and would be too small for 15/16 tip. -
Question: How do you measure
Answer: Measure across the diameter of the tube (leg). -
Question: will this fit over metal point on end of stick?
Answer: I cannot say with out seeing what the metal point looks like. These tips have a flat metal washer at the bottom to reinforce the tip. If this tip measures correctly for the stick that you have then it will fit the stick but if the point will not permit the stick to sit securely on a flat surface then you will have a problem.... -
Question: How thick is the bottom and how much length would be added to my cane?
Answer: I would estimate approximately 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch additional length. -
Question: What is the height of these?
Answer: 2" outside, inside, because of the washer, about 1 1/2" of your cane goes inside. -
Question: Will this fit a 1/4 tip for a visually handicapped walking stick ??.
Answer: Unfortunately it would be way too wide, the color is also black these work real good as replacement tips for my Walker
