    Overview

    CLR MC-12 Metal Clear is a multi-purpose cleanser for cleaning and shining metal, porcelain, granite, laminated, and other hard surfaces. The formula is mildly abrasive for cleaning without scratching most surfaces. It polishes and shines stainless steel, porcelain, granite, and other surfaces, and helps remove hard water stains from stainless steel, porcelain, and aluminum. It is not recommended for use on marble surfaces. This cleanser comes in a 12 oz. bottle.

    Jelmar manufactures cleaning products under the CLR and Tarn-X brand names. The company, founded in 1949, is headquartered in Skokie, IL.

      Answer: It did wonders on my oven top aluminium pans :)

      Answer: YES< CLR IS A GOOD PRODUCT. I HAVE NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED.

      Answer: Sink shined up like new
    • Question: Would clr metal clear remove scale from my porcelaine bathroom sink?

      Answer: Our CLR Metal Clear is specifically formulated as a polish and does not contain the necessary chemicals to remover scale caused by mineral deposits. We recommend using either our CLR Calcium, Lime and Rust Remover or our CLR Brilliant Bath products on your porcelain bathroom sink to remove scale caused by mineral deposit buildup
    • Question: Will it work on corroded outdoor faucets that I can't open?

      Answer: Yes with a wire brush. And more than one application.
    • Question: Does the product contain harmful substances?

      Answer: Our CLR Metal Clear is a polishing chemical and should follow the instructions as listed on the back label as with any cleaning chemical and warnings should be read.
    • Question: can it be used to remove scales from the heating element of the humidifier?

      Answer: Y
    • Question: I have a painted aluminum shed that has mold & mildew (shaded area in central Florida) Will this work?

      Answer: Absolutely!

      Answer: Depends on how scratched.
