    • Question: Is this all Cinnulin -- the label says "with cinnulin", implying that cinnulin may not be 100%.

      Answer: I thought the same thing, but the ingredients list only one type of cinnamon. The other ingredients are what the capsule is made of. Reading the side of the container, you find that the cinnamon listed is the Cinnulin PF. It also works as well as a brand, Cinnabetic II; which was one of the first to be made with only Cinnulin. (Back in 2003 or 2004.)
    • Question: Is this product organically grown?

      Answer: The bottle does not mention anything about the cinnamon having been organically grown. It only boasts of being vegan, non-GMO, and gluten-free...
    • Question: May I know the expiry date of this product. Thanks

      Answer: I purchased this product more than 18 months ago. The expiration date is now printed on the side of all Doctor's Best pill bottles. For example, "MAR2016" is printed on the side of Doctor's Best Alpha-Lipoic Acid pill bottles purchased this month. The expiration date is just what the manufacturer wants it to be and not necessarily when you should throw away a product. For example, milk purchased from a supermarket will frequently taste bad several days before the printed expiration date. In the case of capsules containing powders, the effectiveness of the supplement may still be 90% as good as the newly made product, even after the expiration date.
    • Question: Is the taste pleasant to the one you're kissing...

      Answer: There is no taste. The cinnamon dissolves in your stomach.
    • Question: Specs don't state if this product is coumarin free. i read that cinnulin pf is supposed to have the coumarin removed. does anyone have that info?

      Answer: The point of selling this water-soluble extract is so the "bad" components are removed; only the beneficial components remain, so, yeah, my guess is that there is little to no coumarin left in the extract.

    Seems to work.
    Have been taking this brand of cinnamon tablets for over a year and my glucose levels have dropped from a fasting 122 to 108. These were recommended by an individual who wrote a wellness article in my local paper.

    This product worked for me.
    My fasting blood glucose level was creeping up, from below 100 to above 100 over several consecutive readings, reaching a high of 123 on my June 2020 blood test at my doctor's office. The day after those results were given to me, my husband recommended this product, based on published clinical studies that showed the active ingredient in this product (Cinnulin PF) caused approximately an 8% decrease in fasting blood glucose. I have been taking one capsule per day since then (even though the manufacturer recommends two capsules per day). My last blood test in February 2021 showed a fasting blood glucose level of 108. That's a 12.2% decrease! The clinical study I saw showed an 8.4% average decrease, based on two capsules per day. Nothing in my diet changed much in that time period, so it was probably the Cinnulin PF that caused the decrease. We are very happy with this result. Let me update this review. My recent blood test (August 26, 2021) showed a further decrease in fasting blood glucose to 102 from the last reading of 108. a likely consequence of taking the recommended two capsules per day instead of the previous one capsule per day I was taking, since nothing else changed in my diet or supplements. That gives a total decrease of 17.1% in fasting blood glucose--associated with the recommended dose of two capsules per day--from the high fasting blood glucose level of 123 measured two blood tests ago. This product works for me!

    DIFFERENT / FORMULA CHANGE
    I have to say, I did not realize until AFTER I purchased the product that although it really looks same as what I had been using, it is slightly different as to BOTH miligrams and the ingredients. Imagine my surprise and now I have a few bottles of it :(

    Cheap & effective cinnamon
    The capsules are small & slim enough to swallow easily. The "Doctor's Best" brand contains the 'cinnulin PF' proprietary blend of a water extracted cinnamon @ a more affordable price than other brands (which also contain 'cinnulin PF'). I take 3 capsules spread out thru each day. Do your research & you'll find that even the NIH has investigated 'cinnulin PF' & declared it useful for aiding in the control of several health issues. I use it for helping to control my glucose, even when I go off the deep end & eat way too many glazed donuts... it does help. I have been using different brands of the 'cinnulin PF' blend for years & expect to continue.
