Question: Is this product whole husks or is it ground into a powder?
Answer: It's not whole husks and it isn't ground up like a powder. Go to a health food store that sells bulk and look in the psyllium husk container and you'll see what it looks like. I've been taking it since 1987. Great to use. Keeps you regular. -

Answer: Thanks for reaching out. This product is whole husk psyllium. However, if powder is what you're looking for, our Original Colon Cleanse and our Every Day Fiber are powdered versions of psyllium husk! -
Question: .I have tried a few and I like the one that has the larger fibers. I don't know if anyone has tried the trader joes brand or the the Yerba prima. That is the consistency I am looking for.
Answer: If you're asking if it whole, as in you have to grind it yourself to consume, then no. It's corse ground. When you add water and let it sit for literally a minute, it softens. If you're asking if it's whole, as in "whole wheat", then yes - it is all natural fiber husk ground to a consumable size. The graininess doesn't bother me that much when consuming, but I like how this stuff treats me way better than other powdery stuff. I'd def try it and see what you think. -

Question: Can you use it with gluten free cooking?
Answer: This product is gluten-free so it should be fine with gluten-free cooking. -
Question: Some of my low carb recipes call for psyllium husk powder.....is anyone else interested in it for that reason?
Answer: Yes. High in fiber. Zero net carbs. -
Question: Is it trully a powder such as flour or a courser grind similar to sand?
Answer: Coarse grind. Not flour-like, which I've also used. -
Question: This seems exactly the same as konsyl 100% powdered psyllium husk which reccommends 1 tsp x 3 a day. why is this 1 tbsp? what arevgrams fibe/serving?
Answer: This product is not as good as the Konsyl brand. Konsyl is what I usually use; it seems to have much more soluble fiber per serving than this Health Plus brand - you can really tell when you mix it with warm water. That may have something to do with the discrepancy in the listed content as posed in your questions. FYI, I don't plan on purchasing the Health Plus product again.
