Answer: You received the correct product, hillrom bought the Welch Allyn company and changed the packing and name. You can also google it. -
Question: description says 4 boxes/250 each, but the picture shows a box of 25. Prefer the boxes of 25, does the box of 250 contain 10 smaller boxes of 25?
Answer: Yes, each big box has 250 covers. In each one of those, there are 10 small boxes of 25 covers in ach box. I hope this makes sense and answers your question. There are a total of 1,000 probe covers that come in each order at least at the time of my writing this. -
Question: Are these for baby thermometers. I thought they were covers from adult thermometers, but I received something from seller mentioning baby thermometers
Answer: I bought them for a thermometer that had corded probe such as used in hospitals. I have those type thermometers. The thermometer has a handheld system that has a cord connected probe. The unit could be set for oral or rectal temperature checks. Most adults take oral checks and the rectal checks were most often used for children. I don't know if this answers your questions. -
Question: Are the probe covers recyclable?
Answer: I don't think so. They are made to be disposable to cut down the chance of contagion and contamination. My son had a colonized lung infection. It was not transferable through the air but I would not have wanted to chance that by reusing the probe covers.
