Question: How do you remove the horrible stickers?
Answer: I used Naptha to remove the stickers. It worked great and removed them cleanly. However, be sure to use nitrile gloves when working with Naptha. Also, use it outdoors as the vapors can irritate your lungs in a closed-in space. To remove the stickers, dip a q-tip into the Naptha and work it into the edges of the label you want to loosen. Eventually, it will start to lift up, as it does, pull up on the label, and continue applying the Naptha to the glue side of the label. Even with the Naptha, it takes a while to remove the labels, but the end result is worth it. Once I finished, my cane was smooth as glass, with no labels and no glue residue. Good luck. Rick -
Question: Will it bend ?
Answer: No it does not bend. -
Question: does this cane fit in overhead compartment on a plane?
Answer: I would first check with airlines usually crutches etc. are stored in the front by the flight attendant. It can be made smaller for sure but I don't know if it would quite fit in the overhead compartment. I don't think they would allow for the possibility of it falling out when someone opens it. I would check with airline. It can be made smaller. -
Question: Can i use this cane to rest one of my feet? i have an injured foot, want to stay off it. can i use this cane to support my weight while walking?
Answer: It is very sturdy. You can use it like any cane for support. Perhaps a crutch would work best to keep completely off your injured foot, but I am very happy with this cane. -
Question: How can i find my adjustment button
Answer: The top part of my cane has a series of holes in it. The bottom part of the cane has a spring loaded brass button on it. By sliding the bottom part up or down the brass button will pop into one of the holes adjusting the length of the cane. -
Question: Anyone know how much this cane weighs?
Answer: I actually gave it to a friend. But it was very similar to other hollow metal canes. It's adjustable, has a padded handle... -
Question: Adjust button not found?
Answer: There are 10 holes on the top part of the cane. A bronze button can be pushed in to slide the holes over it to adjust the cane. -
