Question: Is it safe to use on Acrylic tub & shower surfaces?
Answer: Works very well in my fiberglass shower! -
Question: Is it safe to use on a shower tile floor, will it harm the grout. I don't really want to re-grout the tile floor
Answer: It does not harm grout. I have used several times with no effect. Be careful and follow directions and don’t breath any of the product before it is mixed it is extremely irritating -
Question: I see plenty of people using this to get red clay stains out of clothing, but will this remove red clay stains on outdoor concrete/brick walls?
Answer: After pretesting, Iron OUT may be used to remove rust stains from concrete. Due to the porous nature of concrete, Iron OUT may need to be applied, then worked into the surface to reach the depth of the stain before rinsing promptly and thoroughly with fresh water. Iron OUT may be used on brick but not brick containing iron oxide pigments. Iron OUT powder is not plant safe, however, Iron OUT Outdoor is formulated for use on exterior surfaces and is plant safe. -
Question: Can this be used as a daily additive to laundry to prevent staining from high levels of iron in water?
Answer: I used to have high levels of iron in my water and used it as needed in laundry. Not with every wash. Perhaps you could use it in a small amount to keep the iron from building up. -
Question: Can this be safely used on a white standard poodle, who decided to walk under a rust covered pipe?
Answer: Iron OUT is a surface rust stain remover and is not safe for use on humans and animals, as it is a skin and eye irritant. -
Question: I am looking for something to soak rusted tools in to remove rust. Would this product work?

Question: Can the Iron Out product be used to clean iron stains/residue from water heater and pex piping?
Answer: Iron OUT is a surface rust stain remover and is not recommended for use to clean a water heater. -
Question: How much iron out is equivalent to one gal on bleach
Answer: Iron OUT and bleach are formulated uniquely with different chemicals for specific usages, so we are unable to provide a comparable equivalency. -

Question: Can this be used on clothing that has white parts, but other colors too?
Answer: Iron OUT is specially formulated to remove rust stains from most surfaces in and around the home. Iron OUT powder may also be used in laundry to remove hard water staining and dinginess. As labeled, Iron OUT can be used with white laundry and fabrics and should always be pretested first on any colored fabrics to determine colorfastness. If the dyes are not colorfast, Iron OUT could cause irreparable damage.
