Answer: The label does not break down how much of each amino acid is in a serving, but it contains 13 grams of complete protein. By nature, whey contains all of the essential amino acids the body needs but cannot produce itself. According to the U.S. Dairy Council, over 60 percent of the total protein in whey comes from essential amino acids. Goatein is whey protein concentrate (not isolate), which is about 80 percent whey protein by weight. Whey protein concentrate generally contains the following essential amino acid profile measured in mg/g of protein: leucine, 105 mg; lysine, 93 mg; tyrosine, 32 mg; cysteine, 21 mg; isoleucine, 63 mg; valine, 58 mg; threonine, 69 mg, tryptophan, 18 mg; histidine, 17 mg. -
Question: Does this product have Stevia in it?
Answer: Thank you for your question about Goatein Protein Powder. To sweeten this product we use Lo Han Fruit Concentrate and no Stevia. Lo Han does not provide any calories and is regarded as a safe sugar substitute. I have heard it said that Lo Han also known as Monkfruit is preferable in regards to aftertaste compared to stevia.
