    Mini Easi-Grip Scissors Self-opening Mini Easi-Grip Scissors are ultra lightweight and two thirds the size of standard Easi-Grip Scissors. Mini Scissors have 1 " round ended stainless steel blades and are ideal for early scissor skill development, or for special needs due to weak hands or those who are unable to use conventional style scissors due to swollen and painful joints. The continuous loop plastic handle automatically reopens the scissor when pressure is released. Easi-Grip Scissors can be operated by squeezing gently using thumb and fingers, or fingers and palm of the hand. In most cases, the Easi-Grip Mini Scissors can be used in either left or right hand. Blade guard supplied for safety when the scissors are not in use. Other blade styles of Easi-Grip Scissors Color coded handles easily identify whether for right hand (BLUE), for left hand (GREEN), or either hand (RED) How to Use Mini Easi-Grip Scissors: Use either fingers and thumb, or fingers and palm, to gently squeeze the scissors shut.       Answer: overall length- 12.5 cm (4.9") Blades-4.5 cm. (1.77")
    • Question: will this product work for adults or are they too small?

      Answer: It's small but will work as well as any child sized scissors work for an adult. It's not tiny.
    • Question: How wide do the scissors open? Working with a child with dwarfism.

      Answer: They do not open wide like regular scissors but do help with hand strengthening. After using these scissors my child can master regular scissors. I highly recommend this item!

    Aid for people who had a stroke
    This is an aid for people who have lost the use of one arm. and hand, such as myself. I needed to ask others to cut stuff for me. The mini easy-grip scissors means I can do this for myself. The scissors can be used by one hand. They are light in weight. The scissors are safe to use. A good product.

    These don't collapse into staying closed.
    These loop scissors work well you small hands trying to learn to cut. Ther is another brand with two in the package but they collapse down and don't stay open. These are more costly (price has doubled in 1 year) but still worth it for young hands.

    Easy to use
    My son is almost two and caught on pretty quick with these. I highly recommend these if you want your child to grasp the concept of using scissors at a young age or if they have a hard time figuring out how to use regular scissors. They must be supervised because they are fairly sharp for young aged children
