Question: Is this one streak free like the original?
Answer: Yes, it's still a great product that degreases without streaking. The only difference I've found is a change in the scent which isn't as nice but is still pleasant and relatively mild. -

Answer: Name change to multi-surface cleaner. -
Question: This reads as clorox but pictures formula 409. is it actually formula 409 or something else?
Answer: Clorox owns the 409 brand, so it is actually both. The 409 glass and surface cleaner is the 409 mixture. I use it on my glass surface range, my granite countertop and to clean my windows inside and out. -
Question: What are the ingredients?
Answer: Only says biodegradable cleaning agents. No specific ingredients. -
Question: how many ounces is this ?
Answer: IT'S ONE GALLON, O128 fluid ounces, and it is the only product i have used since i started with it over 20 years ago! -
Question: Is it ok to use on wood kitchen cabinets?
Answer: NO!!! This is really only meant for counter tops and glass, and it absolutely can NOT be beat!!!!! -
Question: what does this smell like?
Answer: Just slightly stronger smell than regular 409, not a heavy bleach odor. -
Question: Does this kill germs? Bottle doesnt say it disinfectant
Answer: There is nothing in this product that disinfects according to the Clorox's list of ingredients. The original 409 multi surface had ammonium chloride in it for disinfecting, but they don't make it anymore. There isn't any in the glass cleaner. Try Lysol Kitchen Pro and Clorox multi surface with bleach. This cleaner has Propylene glycol n-butyl ether which is the drying agent and sodium Laureth sulfate which is the sufactant that does the cleaning, and a few other scent and color chemicals. Usually, the products with bleach have +bleach on the label. Products using bleach are required to identify the bleach upfront. Bleach is not listed in the MSDS.
