Answer: I find this specific product from NOW to be the most effective cascara sagrada and much more dependable than Senna. I have been taking these every night for almost 15 years and I love them. I take three right after dinner and for me , I can always count on a 12-hour turnaround. -

Answer: I do not know how aged it is But I can tell you I have never smelled it so fresh in all the many years I have used Cascara Sagrada..I take 3 everyday and I’m very regular and feel great..i have been using this since mid 90’s..there are times where a will take it every 2-3days depending on your system..I’m not a Dr..I just go on what I do.. -

Answer: This is not a standardized material, being a powdered bark of a shrub. Our material has been tested for cascarosides by the USP method and our latest batch contains Cascara sagrada with a level of 87.5%. The minimum specified is 60%. This is not a single cascaroside (i.e. cascaroside a); it is a complex that is measured. These are not label claims, but will illustrate the range of expected cascarosides content of that material. -

Answer: I would consult my doctor before taking either one. Cascara Sagrada is not a diet pill. I have never used TheraSlim.
