Answer: Pure Encapsulations E.P.O. is a chemical free, fresh-pressed oil. The final product is tested for Pure's standard test panel of heavy metals, pesticides and residual solvents. The level of detection is less that 1 ppm for hexane. These are not wild seeds, they are cultivated. The material is from the seed of the evening primrose plant. -
