    Customer Questions & Answers

    • Question: it says is vegetarian, but it said gelatine , what source of gelatine then¡? thank you ?

Answer: The capsules are made from gelatin which is bovine derived. Can you clarify where you saw this product listed as vegetarian?
    • Question: Can you explain rapeseed oil?

Answer: The vitamin E is offered in a base of rapeseed oil. While early research on rapeseed oil identified some health concerns, these were found to be linked to the eracic acid content which is no longer present in modern day rapeseed oil. The main concern typically associated with modern rapeseed/canola oil is extraction solvents, however this would not be a concern for this Pure Encapsulations' product since they test each batch.
    • Question: Is the rapeseed oil from genetically modified plants, like canola?

Answer: Canola oil is crap and almost always GMO
    • Question: Is this vitamin E in dry form?

Answer: No. It is in a semi-small oval gel capsule.
    • Question: What are the other tocopherols in this product? They are not specified on the label.

Answer: One capsule of our Vitamin E with mixed tocopherols typically contains: d-alpha tocopherol: 268 mg d-beta tocopherol: 4.1 - 8.2 mg d-gamma tocopherol: 0.41 - 4.1 mg d-delta tocopherol: < 0.41 mg The rest of the 67 mg are other naturally occurring tocopherols for which Pure Encapsulations' independent laboratories do not test.
    • Question: what is the source of the gelatin?

Answer: The gelatin is of bovine origin.
    • Question: Will the gelcap soften and dissolve in mouth if you dont want to swallow?

Answer: The softgel capsule for Pure Encapsulations Vitamin E is not designed to dissolve. We recommend poking a hole in the softgel, and emptying the contents if the softgel cannot be swallowed. The oil mixture may be mixed with a juice, smoothie, or food.
    • Question: Is this derived from soy

Answer: Yes, vitamin E is derived from soy. However, there is no detectable GMO material in this product.
    • Question: What is the source of the vitamin E?

Answer: The vitamin E (d-alpha tocopherol succinate) is derived from highly refined and purified soybean oil, however the oil is purified to remove all soy allergens and can be tolerable even to individuals with soy allergy.
