Wet & Forget is an outdoor cleaner that eliminates black and green stains caused by moss, mold, mildew and algae without any scrubbing, power washing or bleach. Just mix 5 parts water with 1 part Wet & Forget in a pump up garden sprayer. Fully saturate a dry surface with Wet & Forget on a cool dry day and leave it. That’s it! Just wet it and forget it. Wet & Forget goes to work with the wind and rain to gently clean the surface over time. Green stains generally clean up within a few weeks, a few days with rainfall. Black stains or heavy stubborn stains may take 6-12 months to fully clean up. Be Patient, Good Things Take Time! Question: Any luck with just dirty landscape bricks or is it just for mold and mildew??
Answer: I doubt that W&F would clean ordinary dirt, soil, grease, and similar stains from landscape bricks, but it does do a great job of removing mold, mildew, fungus, lichens, moss, etc. My experience with W&F is that when it kills the mold, mildew, fungus, moss, etc., with time the deposits of discoloration that those organisms put on the surface will also come off. I have an area of pavers by the side of my house that is in the shade almost all year so it tends to grow mold/mildew and lichens. When I apply W&F, almost immediately the mold/mildew changes color from black to brownish color, and gradually after a few weeks the brownish color goes away, too. Similarly with lichens and moss: First it changes from live green color to a dead brownish color, and then it goes away completely. This stuff is fantastic for killing "dirty" organisms like mold and mildew and also for removing most of the stains they leave behind, but it won't clean ordinary soil, grease, etc. -
Question: Can I spray thiis on my back deck today, and paint the deck 4 days later without washing?
Answer: Wet & Forget does not work that fast. If you were to paint your deck four days after applying this product you would be wasting your money because Wet & Forget would not work at all. In order for Wet & Forget to work it must be exposed to the elements, e.g., sun and rain. I would pressure wash the patio lightly, let it dry completely and then paint or stain it. -
Question: Any luck with this cleaning mildew off of painted brick?
Answer: Used on roof, vinyl siding, painted concrete. Found it to be better than other products that made similar claims, just use as instructed. -
Question: apply wetandforget prior to restaining ?

Answer: Yes. It can be used on vinyl siding. As per the instructions: Wet and Forget can be used on any outdoor surface. Question: Can it be used in an indoor shower or is it strictly intended for outdoor use?
Answer: As far as I know, it is designed only for the removal of cement and roof moss. I experiment a lot with cleaners so who knows. Just be careful. Have you ever tried Simple Green for the shower? Though it doesn;t disinfect and might be limited in it's effectiveness on mold and soap scum, I use it religiously and it has replaced a number of household cleaners for me. -
Question: Can this be used on out door carpet?
Answer: It could be possibly be used for that purpose. But then again the product would remain wet. Causing more mold and mildew. But that's my opinion - if it were me I would not use it forthat. -
Question: can this be used on patio cushions that are protected from sun and rain
Answer: Hello. Yes, Wet & Forget can be used on patio cushions. Surfaces that are treated with Wet & Forget need exposure to the sun and rain to properly clean the surface. We'd suggest rinsing down the cushions weekly to simulate rain one time per week until the cushions are clean. Application: Keep people and pets off the surface during application and overnight. Answer: Yes! That’s what I used it for. It works but takes a few days. Not an overnight thing.
