Question: whats the difference between the 100% essential oil & the 20% blend ?
Answer: 100% is pure frankincense oil. 20% is a blend of frankincense and other essential oils, called carrier oils. The 100% will be more potent. -
Question: Can you use this essential oil in a diffuser even if is 20 percent blend? Also can you put some on your back neck? Thanks!
Answer: I do use this in a diffuser and even though it’s a 20% blend the aroma comes through. With any essential oil you should always dilute with a carrier oil and test on a small area of skin for any adverse reactions. (I use a blend of liquid coconut and aloe for application on skin but haven’t used this oil for massage) -
Question: Can I add a few drops of lavender essential oil to this without it changing any of the properties of the frankincense oil?
Answer: People create blends of essential oils all the time...in fact there is a Young Living blend that contains lavender and frankincense oil as its main ingredients. Doing so should give you the benefits of both or all the oils in the blend without compromising the character of the individual oils. This is true in most cases with essential oils, though there will always be exceptions to every rule. There should be no problem combining frankincense and lavender. -
Question: Do you always mix oils with so much water?
Answer: Oil and water don't mix very well. -
Question: I have read that Francincense will help with warts. Anyone know if thisis this true? I am thinking this already diluted might be easier in this case.
Answer: never heard of that. but my husband got rid of his warts using duct tape and taping it on. and other times he sprays vinegar & water...works great...says mayo clinic also for both. i love frankincense bath when traveling or if you have anything going on in your chest...kills bacteria and virus...a holy oil. good luck. -
Question: Does it have a dropper?
Answer: It doesn't have a dropper, but it has a plastic piece in the opening that allows it to "drop" out rather than pour out.
