    • Question: How much lysine is actually in this product

      Answer: Not sure. The label indicates that lysine is part of the 300mg of their Proprietary Blend. I use the cream all the time. I'm working on a "kick-butt" essential oil remedy for cold sores. I use the liquid extract as the carrier oil.
    • Question: is this gluten free?

      Answer: doubt it. other ingredients are echinacea, shiitake mushroom, propolis, gum benzoin, licorice root, golden seal, water and alcohol (40%). it's the alcohol that contains gluten I think. check to see if you can find alcohol free lysine because this stuff is great!
    • Question: does this product have garlic in it?

      Answer: Never tasted nor smelled garlic. No label to refer to now. Changed after receiving bottle full of unrecognizable liquid.
    • Question: How much lysine is in a drop?

      Answer: Doesn't say. It is a blend. One dropper per serving is recommended dose and that is what I take each day in cold water, unless I feel a cold coming on or if I miss a couple of days, then I take 2. I can tell you I have been plagued with fever blisters my whole life. Multiple painful fever blisters were there for every event of my life from my kindergarten graduation until I found lysine in my 40's. I've taken this brand for about 20 years. And it does the trick. Rarely have a fever blister and if I do it is very small and heals quickly. So however much is in a dropper is enough.
    • Question: How bad does it taste :-/

      Answer: Pretty bad. But I take it in about one cup water and it's OK. Mix in other drinks just ruins their flavor. Use water.
    • Question: Can you tell me what color is the liquid extract ? super lysine liquid

      Answer: It's like a thick brewed tea. Not tasty, but works so fast on mouth sores and fever blisters. Way better than anything else.

    Absorbs rapidly
    I drop 2 drops in a glass of orange juice and you can’t taste it. Works in a few hours and can feel difference within a day! Will buy again!

    Helps me in many ways
    Helps with cold sores. I felt one coming on with the tingles and immediately took a a few drops on the site of the sensation and under my tongue on the hour for about 4 hours and the cold sore never came. Also helps when you think you’re going to get sick, take it. I even take it preventively at least once daily. I’m going to need a bigger bottle!

    I always keep this on hand!
    This brings almost immediate relief or prevents an outbreak and so much easier to take than those huge L- lysine horse pills you find at the store, also seems to work much faster.
