Question: Will this product work on slate floors? We have grease spots on our slate kitchen floor that we'd like to try and remove.
Answer: I would try Chomp Pull it Out for your slate floor. It absorbs the oil and then if there is any residue from the chomp, you can use your regular cleaner on that if needed. -
Question: Can this be used on the inside of stainless steel pans?
Answer: I have used it on stainless grills and appliances. If you use it on a pan, just was it well afterwards. Maybe try the 409 on a small part of the pan. -
Question: Does this remove the film that seems to visibly accumulate on the darker granite?
Answer: I'm not exactly sure what you mean by film on the granite. I will tell you that my husband washes the dishes that do not fit into the dishwasher. Which ultimately means that he is the one who wipes up the counter tops. He wipes around the dish drainer rack and whatever else is on the countertop. Then when I happened to move the dish drainer rack, there was a visible outline on the granite. I could also feel it. I sprayed it with this product and used a small piece of fine steel wool..not the soap kind, and rubbed it out. It looked great. To me, this product is more of a cleaner than a wax. I use this product mostly to clean our natural travertine floors. Excellent on travertine. -
Question: Is this antibacterial?
Answer: Sadly no, I use antibacterial wipes followed by the 409 stone & steel cleaner. -
Question: Does it kill any bacteria?
Answer: Hi there. Great question! While our Stone and Steel Cleaner doesn't have a claim to kill bacteria, it does cut through grease leaving surfaces clean. Thanks. Riley from the Formula 409 team
