Question: Can it reach.ceiling baseboard
Answer: If you stand on a ladder or step stool it can reach a 10-12 feet ceiling. I did not realize the duster fabric is included in the 3 feet length. I am in a wheelchair but I am mobile enough to sit on a bar chair and clean my ceiling fan top and blades. So yes, with additional height you can reach ceiling baseboards. -

Answer: Maybe, but it i made for use as a common duster of furniture and vents and objects that are dusty. But it is soft and is grabs at dust, so you could try. -

Answer: It is not stainless steel but a very durable and strong plastic---I love my Swiffer Extender!!!
