Product Description MICROLET Lancets are silicone-coated for smooth entry and designed to help minimize pain (1,2) so you can test with confidence. Designed for use with MICROLET family of lancing devices to monitor blood glucose levels, these sterile lancets are easy to use by simply inserting the lancet into the lancing device until the lancet comes to a complete stop and then twisting off the round protective lancet cap. Each order includes 100 multi-colored lancets. Do not use if protective cap has been previously removed. Question: What is the gauge and expiration date?
Answer: I bought a box in July 2014 and they expire 01-2019 according to the box. Sterilized in 01-2014. Made in Poland. By Bayer company. There is no gauge on the box but they look / feel like 26. They're pretty small. -
Question: What size gauge is it? I can only use extra fine lancets
Answer: I checked my box to see what gauge they are for you , but I can't find anything on the box that says anything about it . The only thing I can tell you is that they aren't the same size as what came with my original glucose meter and they broke my spring on my device . Sorry I couldn't be more helpful . -
Question: Can this be reused after cleaning with alcohol?
Answer: I normally use mine (with no cleaning) for two weeks before replacing. When you use a really sharp one you don't even realize you have pricked your finger. And as cheap as they are (free for Medicare) it's easy to replace them often.. -
Question: Is the experiation date 2019 or 2020?
Answer: My box (just recently purchased) shows a sterilization date of Feb 2018, and an expiration date of February 2023. -
Question: Will these work with the Contour Next Gen?
Answer: The lancet is for priking your finger to get a little blood onto the test strip. It should work for Contour Next Gen. -
Question: Will these fit the keto mojo lancet device? Can you tell me how the length of the needle compares to the ones that come with that device?
Answer: Yes it will work with your device. The length of the needle is about or the same of the ones that came with the your device.
