Question: Is this a clean, rub, and replace contact imediately solution?
Answer: No...Advance line requires 2 solutions. This one is a cleaning solution only. I use a separate conditioning solution because that works for me. There is one that does both...Simplus. -
Question: Can this be used on soft contact lens?
Answer: No, it can only be used for hard contact lens. Soft lens have designated solutions to be used. -
Question: which is newer the Advance or the simplex? '
Answer: Simplus, not simplex, is the newer. It's 2-in-1, without the Cleaner/Conditioning system of Advance. -
Question: Does this come with the case? Or is it just the cleaning fluid?
Answer: It does not come with a case. It's just the specialized cleaning soap. -
Question: Am i supposed to get both step 1 and step 2 at the same time to use? no idea which one should i get?
Answer: I use this routine for my gas permeable lenses.I squeeze a few drops of Boston Simplus into the storage case where I place my lenses overnight. Then, before I insert them in my eyes, I clean each lens with Boston Advance and rinse well before inserting into my eyes, I have been doing this method for years and it is an effective practice for me. -
Question: Can I use this for my Prose Lenses?
Answer: I don't know what Prose lenses are, but I use it for my gas permeable lenses. They're a flexible hard lenses (not soft). So if Prose is similar to gas permeable, I'd think ok. But maybe you could call the manufacturer. -

Question: How does this compare with Lobob extra strength cleaner
Answer: Sorry to say I have not used that cleaner. I have only used the B&L cleaner for hard lenses. I soak the lenses in a few drops of Simplus at night, then rinse the next day and use the the B&L Advanced cleaner before putting them in my eyes. Works well for me. -
Question: Does this solution work for acuvue oasys for astigmatism contact lenses?
Answer: I have gas permeable lenses so I am not 100% if it would be ok to use for the type of lenses that you have. To be sure, I would contact my eye doctor and they can tell you it is recommended for your type of lenses. If it is not, they can give you the names of recommended brands.
