Customer Questions & Answers
-
Question: Will this product remove the paint from an annodized window frame?
Answer: This item does not remove paint. This is a silicone softener and remover, and does not work on anything except silicone sealants and greases. -
Question: Is this safe on unpolished granite?
Answer: I haven't used it on unpolished granite. It did not damage acrylic paint, however. -
Question: I'm trying to take apart an aquarium. Will this penetrate between the glass to soften and break down the silicone ? The RTV is Momentive 100 series (clear)
Answer: Based on my experiences with using this stuff on clear silicone sealant, it would soften it. I doubt it would completely break it down, though. -
Question: Could you use this to remove silicone from an acrylic paint pour?
Answer: The stuff I bought at Home Depot for $8 worked better. Go to the paint department. They will help you. -
Question: Can this product be used to remove silicone from RV's?
Answer: That’s what we bought it for, didn’t work at all, don’t waist your money.
