Question: are these food grade? can i use these for beverages and in baking?
Answer: These are high quality oils from a great company. I'd use the oils to flavor natural tooth paste (something im spitting out ) but not to cook with and eat. You're better off getting dry lavender flowers and grinding them in a coffee grinder for baking or tea and a tiny bit goes a long way. -
Question: I have small cockroaches in my apartment... I heard peppermint & cypress oil are reppellents - which of your products would you rec'd to deter them?
Answer: I have not used this specifically for cockroaches, however I do keep a blend of water (3/4 of the bottle), vinegar (1/4), peppermint and lavender oil (5-10 drops each depending on your sensitivity to smells) as a general bug repellent to clean around doors, floors, and windows. I even spritz on furniture sometimes. Seems to do the trick and smells great. The vinegar smell dissipates quickly. I live "in the country" with tons of bugs and giant spiders and scorpions outdoors and we VERY RARELY find any in the house. ((In addition to the oils, you might also want to try sprinkling diatomaceous earth in small crevices like sides of the stove, behind the fridge, etc.)) Hope this helps! -
Question: Can you use it in the washer to have your bedding smell like it,if so can you put it in the dryer to dry bedding?
Answer: I've been putting three to five drops every time I've washed my bedding for a year now and there hasn't been any stains ( just make sure you mix it with your detergent before putting it in) .. There's only a hint of a smell, but it's just enough to to help someone with insomnia (like myself) to fall asleep -
Question: can I rub this on baby/toddler feet to help sleep?
Answer: We generally don't recommend using essential oils on children younger than 2 years old, as we like to err on the side of extreme caution when it comes to children. Diffusing Lavender essential oil in their nursery for no longer than 15-20 minutes should be fine. -
Question: Does this really relax you? Planning to use as part of car air fresher
Answer: Our Lavender is a great essential oil to use for relaxation. -
Question: How do I go from one essential oil to the next? I feel like just dumping the water from my diffuser and putting new water isn’t enough.
Answer: Great question! When diffusing and switching from one oil to the next, we recommend rising with water and cleaning the inside with a hand towel. Every few weeks we recommend cleaning your diffuser entirely with apple cider vinegar. -
Question: Can i use this in my hair pomade
Answer: Yes, Lavender can be added to hair products to nourish hair, mousturize the scalp, promote hair growth and prevent hair from shedding. -
Question: What is the shelf life on these essential oils? How long before they need/should be replaced?
Answer: Sorry, I don't keep the essential oils for any length of time. I use the oils to make a formula for pressing fabric. The longest I have had a bottle is about 6 months. -
Question: Is it need to diluted with vegetable oils? Because of pure essential oils is very strong, directly on the skin, can cause damage. I want make sure bef
Answer: Not strong I use for scent my home and can not smell much and have to use too much for the price. -
