Question: Is this a vegan / animal cruelty free product?
Answer: Lanolin is taken from sheep's wool. Would depend if the taking of the wool is by cruelty free methods, (well treated animals, not cut to the quick to cause bleeding, discomfort). 99% of d3 products I've seen are lanolin sourced. Kind Organics has a liquid spray, plant based 1000iu a spray, 125 sprays per 2oz bottle @ $15. It has stevia, so a little sweet tasting and vanilla flavor. -
Question: how do you make the dropper work? it doesn't come out very easily... (thanks)
Answer: It doesn't have a dropper. You need to hold the bottle upside down and the drops will come out. it takes a while to get the first drops through though. -
Question: Is it gluten free?
Answer: It says wheat,sugar and yeast free. It does not say officially gluten free. -
Question: how many iu's per bottle?
Answer: I don't know how many iu's per bottle but 2 drops are equal to 4000 iu, and I use it every day. For me, a bottle usually lasts 3-4 months. -
Question: what is the expiration date?
Answer: Ours has a two year expiration from the day it was made, we put it in the refirgarator to slow down the aging. It just deppends when the Vitiamin D3 is made. -
Question: Dear nature’s answer, what’s your vitamin d-3 drops 4000iu sourced from? is it derived from sheep’s wool or is it plant based? if plant, then what?
Answer: Thank you for your interest in Nature's Answer Vitamin D 3, in Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The source of the Vitamin D 3 is lanolin. Lanolin comes from domestic sheep breeds that are raised specifically for their wool. Once they are sheared the wool is soaked and the lanolin floats to the top of the water. The sheep are not slaughtered but are allowed to regrow their natural wool coat. Just two small drops of Nature's Answer Vitamin D 3 supplies 4000 IU of Vitamin D.
