      Answer: Mine says 07/25 ... bought the bottle a couple months ago.

      Answer: These Phyto-Capsules are similar to a gel cap. A size 0 capsule is used for all encapsulated products.

      Answer: The species of plant is not stated. It is an extract of the berry. Mark. Herbalishous. Wayne, PA
    • Question: Natural cyanide is present in hawthorn seeds. If this product is extracted from the whole berry, then what is its cyanide content in ppm?

      Answer: Many seeds contain trace amounts of cyanide, and cyanide evaporates readily. The boiling point of cyanide is 26 degrees C (or 79 degrees F). The berries are processed at around 60 degrees C (or 140 degrees F), thus there are no cyanide concerns regarding the finished product of Hawthorn Supreme.

      Answer: All I can tell you is that the ingredients list states vegetable glycerin. Which veggie I don't know.
    • Question: Are the contents of the capsules supposed to look like black tar?

      Answer: The color is dark due to the highly concentrated nature and it is typical to occasionally see some darker particulates as part of the extraction process (true of most our liquid-phyto caps). This verifies the greatest potency and quality is delivered, per capsule.

    Saved my Dog's Heart
    My dog was diagnosed with CHF. I went online and did research and got him this. Gaia usually has good quality stuff so I figured why not. 500mg of proprietary hawthorne blend. Few months pass by and Leo (my dog) has some kidney issues. We go into the vet and they did an X-ray of his chest. Turns out, not only does he no longer have a heart murmur. His heart shrunk and made what the vet said "9 months of progress" in over 2 months. So yeah... This Hawthorne berry is the real deal. I'm gonna end up buying a tincture but that's only because I don't want to feed Leo pills. For human use this is probably one of the best stuff you're gonna get on the market. It is pricey but worth it. Good luck!
