Question: What size are these pills?
Answer: "Normal" size. Not too large. I have trouble taking large pills, and have never had issues with these. These capsules shouldn't give you any problems . I take 3 for maximum effect. -
Question: Is this from noble kava?
Answer: Gaia Herbs sources their Kava from the islands of Vanuatu, where the herb is said to have originated and has been used for centuries. -
Question: What is the extraction process used for this product? Is alcohol used in extraction process?
Answer: Yes, alcohol is used and is listed as an ingredient in the Kava Root. As of May 2015, Gaia Herbs uses 190-proof non-GMO sugar cane alcohol for all products extracted at their facility in Brevard, North Carolina. Those new labels list “alcohol USP” or “organic alcohol USP.” For products made before then, they used 190-proof alcohol derived from corn and wheat. The alcohol used for extraction is distilled and certified gluten-free by the manufacturer. The distillation process eliminates proteins (gluten is a protein). -
Question: Re: extraction: Just to clarify: this product lists glycerin as an ingredient but it is not a a glycerin tincture but rather an alcohol one?
