Question: can this thermometer be used on adults
Answer: I purchase this thermometer and use it on my adult clients and almost all result are febrile readings. It is not accurate. Now i have a thermometer i have no use for. -
Question: I keep getting a temp reading of 37 or 38. What am I doing wrong?
Answer: Its reading in celcius. 38° celcius is 100° fareheight... there should be directionns on how to change the readout to °F.. -

Question: Aim, press and release not hold to take a temperature. Is that correct?
Answer: Yes that is correct, press the button to turn it on, point at the person, press the button and release and it will beep when the temp is read. -
Question: Can it be silenced? I just received one but the tone is the same as our underground fence collar. Poor dog hid under the bed.
Answer: No. The only thing you can do with this is change the reading from °F to °C. -
Question: I just bought this, i changed the batteries, and still when i turn it on, it just says "lo." it worked only a few times! any ideas?
Answer: Thank you for your questions. "Lo" does not represent battery power. A low battery will generate a continuous display of the battery symbol and eventually, an “x” out on the battery. What you are seeing is actually stating that the temperature is reading Low. There are a few things that may be causing this. Either, the persons temperature is low, the thermometer is not being given time to adjust to the room temperature which is required for accuracy or for some reason it is malfunctioning. It is important to remember that conductive technology requires a stable environment in room temperature to function properly. If the thermometer is not given a minute or two for the probe to adjust to the environment between readings, you may find that your readings vary. If you find that you are having difficulties with your thermometer even after allowing it to adjust to ambient temperature, we'd be happy to test it using our calibrated test equipment and repair or replace it as necessary Please contact Maria in customer service using reference number AM203 so we can assist you further.
