    • Question: Are the clips molded into the ring? We are having trouble with clips becoming detached. Also, how small a plate will this fit?

      Answer: According to the manufacturers specifications, this product can fit plates with a diameter of 8" to 10 3/4". Yes, the clips are molded to the ring.
    • Question: What is the smallest plate it could fit on?

      Answer: I just attached it to an 8.5 inch plate. It appeared to be OK but without actual use with food, I don't know. I did attempt to move it around and it remained in place. We used it on a 10.25 inch plate.
    • Question: What is the largest size plate it will fit?

      Answer: Our plates are almost 11 inches, & it fits really well but it bends so it could probably fit a larger plate.
    • Question: Does gaurd come with a plate?

      Answer: Yes it does. Plate works great.

      Answer: No the plate was not included
    • Question: i am looking for something to put a meal in with cover that is micowavable for elderly mom?

    KEEPS food on plate!
    Brother has hand tremors and the lip aids him in pushing his food to the lip so he can pick it up. Wonderful item. Children could benefit.

    I purchased this for a patient who has Parkinson's
    This person was having tremors, and had a lot of difficulty scooping the food into the spoon. She is able to scoop her food, and feed herself independently, with use of the plate guard and a weighted utensil. My patient is picky about the plate she uses to eat from, and this guard fits both of the plates she likes to use.
