Question: I need a refill for "type a". is this it? if not where can i get one?
Answer: Hi there, yes this is the Type A refill. -
Question: This says "universal fit". does it work with ocedar handles?
Answer: It is drilled to fit roller style mops. I don't believe they have that style any longer, at least not on their website. Unless you have an old Old Cedar roller mop handle, it won't work. -
Question: am I the only one that has problem with the metal rusting?
Answer: I don’t have a problem with rust on my mop, I keep mine in a storage space and have no problem. Maybe the mopping liquid you are using. -
Question: Can you use it to scrub shower ceiling tiles?
Answer: Thank you for your question. It would depend on the material of your tiles. If they are a high gloss or are coated with anything the material of this mop head could strip that layer off of the tiles. This Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Roller Mop refill can be used on vinyl, tile and stone. But is not recommended for high gloss or wood flooring. Question: Do regular size magic erasers come on a shorter handle, say 12 inches or so for back splashes & shower walls? A mop handle is too clumsy.
Answer: As far as I know, they do not, but what a great idea! There is a magic rubber squeegee they make but I think it's more for drying water from walls of tubs and showers, like windows. -
Question: How many uses do you get out of one head?
Answer: I use the mop once a week on my tile floors. I get about 12 weeks or three months on each mop head. So I would say approximately 12 to 14 uses.
