Answer: Don't know. I threw them away because the hideous design was not at all what was advertised. -

Answer: We use the 12EL, which is a raised lid for hot drinks. -

Question: Can you microwave these cups
Answer: That is a BIG NO. Studies show that styrene, a likely carcinogen, can leach from polystyrene foam cups and containers when heated. Never put hot food/drink into polystyrene foam containers, and never microwave these (or any plastic) products! What kind of cancer does Styrofoam cause? For possible other human cancer sites related to styrene exposures, NTP asserts 'Studies in the reinforced-plastics industry provided evidence that suggests a possible association between styrene exposure and cancer of the esophagus or pancreas. -
Question: Are these sturdy after filling with hot beverage, or do they get flimsy in your hand?
Answer: I buy these exclusively for hot beverages, they are strong and sturdy -

Answer: The styrofoam cups would not be ECO friendly.
