      Answer: 100% sandalwood oil. it is not diluted.
    • Question: Is this obtained by steam distillation or co2 extraction?

      Answer: I do believe doTERRA uses steam distillation for all their oils.
    • Question: can sandalwood be used internally?

      Answer: Hello Linda! Yes! You can put 1-3 drops of Sandalwood in an empty vegetable capsule and take it internally that way. You may also apply it topically or diffuse it in an oil diffuser. (:
    • Question: What is a carriere oil?

      Answer: DoTERRA oils are undiluted (unless specified in a roller bottle that they are diluted and ready for immediate use). Many oils you don’t want to put directly on your skin, so you use what is called a carrier oil - basically a diluting oil. A lot of people use coconut oil, olive oil, sesame oil, jojoba oil, etc. You can choose whatever you prefer.
    • Question: Why is this so expensive?? $60+ for 5ml.. And reviews say it doesn't even have a strong scent..?

    Brand name isn't always better
    This was my first time buying Sandalwood from doTERRA. I was slightly disappointed only in the fact that it is so pricey and it smells exactly the same as another (and much less expensive) brand. I typically notice a difference when purchasing doTERRA vs a less expensive brand. I probably wouldn't spend the extra money for the doTERRA Sandalwood next time.
