Question: Is it good for cold sores?
Answer: If you put it directly on the cold sore it will burn butif you apply it to the surrounding area the benefits of the oil will work. -
Question: Why are doterra oils so much more expensive than similar products?
Answer: They are the most pure oils on the market as they are triple to tested to verify purity and quality with the third test being done by an independent company. If the oils do not pass all 3 levels of inspections, the batch is rejected. Doterra sets the standard on essential oils. -
Question: has anyone ever used these oils in a potpourri crock pot? you put in one cup hot water. I was wondering if you would get the aromma from the oil
Answer: I use mine in a diffuser so I would think it would work just as well in the crock pot. I also put a few drops on the filter in my vacuum cleaner so when I vacuum I get a nice cinnamon smell in the air -
Question: does it really smell good? I don't want to smell like trees.
Answer: I wear Balance, and it reminds me of a "Christmas tree scent." However, men and women both compliment me about how good I smell! No one has ever told me that I smelled like a Christmas tree, even when I have specifically asked. It works well with my body chemistry. -
Question: What oil are best for memory
Answer: There are a few different oils that are good for this. While balance is more of a calming blend, you could definitely use clove, frankincense, or even rosemary to help with memory. -
Question: is it easy to remove the top and refill the container?
Answer: I have never.tried removing the top from rollers doterra sends. I do buy other rollers though and I can remove them, but they are.very tight. -

Question: What's the difference between eucalyptus radiata oil and regular eucalyptus oil?
Answer: Regular eucalyptus oil is what w called Both same genus but different species. Globulus (also known as the blue gum tree) is that traditional strong smelling oil. Radiata (also known as narrow leaved peppermint) is a milder scent and different.s Typically used for the same purpose, but Radiata is safe for children. I believe Globulus beats Radiata in a head to head when looking at all the good stuff such as the 1.8 cineol. This is kind of like its medicinal value. Some sites say they have the same, but that is typically not true. Globulus usually is approx 10% higher (but both are close). This is one of the reasons radiata is used on children instead of globulus. Globulus has been in the spotlight for a long time and therefore has been harvested on a much larger scale. What this means is that radiata is typically a more expensive. Globulus ORAC score: 2400 RAdiata ORAC score: may be same. I found one site that had it but i think it was just an error and they put in the globulus score. I prefer globulus, but I also like radiatta. Another big one with super high 1,C Cineol level is Eucalyptus citriodora which also has an ORAC score of over 80,000 I believe. this may be an issue for some with sensitive skin. **Please see my new question about why use Doterra when they are more expensive, they don't have organic products (and no they their self created testing standard is different than organic certifications and it still isn't as extensive in many area). so I am not trying to bash the company. If I were to then i'd bash Living Young since DoTerra is almost a cookie cutter copy of Living Young by a few old employees. My question is why choose these two when they are super expensive, yet they don't even make all their own oil?? A company such as Plant Life Essentials who are less expensive and they don't make as big of false claims as the other aforementioned company/companies ? -
