Question: Are these soft enough to be used inside face masks, over the bridge of the nose?
Answer: Maybe: but there is a metal wire under soft coating. Plus each end can be a little sharp. Personally I would not use it under mask for children under 12. They would fiddle with it too much. Adults can take their own chances. -
Question: Will these fit into thin pipes?
Answer: Fits in the tiny stem of a church warden pipe I have. Not saying they will fit all pipes but they fit everything I have. -
Question: Would this work in a DIY cloth face mask - sewing a channel at the top of mask at bridge of the nose - add a pipe cleaner to help snug mask to face?
Answer: I just learned to sew. I had some old pipe cleaners around the house. They were way too big and bulky. I found these and they were perfect size and nice and soft. Family members complained the old traditional pipe cleaners were too rough. I just bend the outer edges in and push it down and go over it twice with a zig zag edge before flipping my mask. Great price and quality. When I sew top stitch on the outside of the mask it now has such a nice clean seem. Due to the pipe cleaner being so thin I can easily sew closer to the top edge of the mask. I’ll post some photos with pipe cleaner in -

Answer: About six inches long. -
Question: Do these pipe cleaners have spikes on them? Or are they smooth pipe cleaners
Answer: They are made of cloth with a slight bumpy texture all along the pipe cleaner. There are no spikes. If you are using them to clean a pipe they work very well. -
Question: Will these fit betwen heat sink fins?
Answer: I'm sure they would ... obviously heat sinks come in many different sizes. These cleaners are flexible and will compress in diameter when pushed through thin areas ... -
Question: would you recommend these for cleaning of medical devices?
Answer: Yes, definetly. Many people including cancer patients use these to clean their PAX which they use for medical marijuana. -

Answer: Sorry for this extremely late response!!! But they are a very light brown almost like ivory colored -

Question: will these work to clean the ga tube of an ar 15
Answer: I believe the general consensus is you don't have to clean the gas tube. I don't.
