Question: Will this clean cherry kitchen cabinets with grease and other oils?
Answer: I believe you might want to clean them with Murray's wood soap first, then polish. I have Amish made oak furniture that most of the pieces are 20+ years, and guardsmen has kept them like new. Guardsmen might make a cleaner to apply before using polish. The price is great, much higher in other stores. Good luck! -
Question: Can you use this on white painted wood and is it silicone and wax free?
Answer: I think you could use it on painted furniture free from damage. I do not spray the it directly on my painted wood but the same cloth I use with this product also gets used to do a wipe down on painted wood as I dust. The purpose of this product is really for bringing out the beauty of real wood. It is silicone free as the label says it both on front & back. Unsure if it contains wax because no ingredients are listed. I read the label well & it makes no mention of wax in it or not. -
Question: We have mid century modern Heywood Wakefield blonde wood furniture. Will this product work for it?

Question: Is this product,Guardsman Anytime Clean & Polish safe to use on Mahogany furniture?
Answer: I used this on our brand new dark brown/mahogany kitchen cabinets which after a year of lots of use and touching by an up-and-coming 20-month old baby boy, it cleaned them very well and I didn't have any discoloration. They look great and it cleans well. Just try it out on a small hidden spot before you use it. -
Question: Will this remove light scratches?
Answer: I had wax haze & light scratches on my dining room table & end tables. For so long I was hesitant to use the cleaning spray. Finally I just couldn't stand how my furniture looked so decided it couldn't look any worse if I used the cleaner. I sprayed a light coating on a good cotton cleaning rag and worked carefully. As I saw improvement continued to spray a clean part of the rag and continued until I got the desired look. From then on I have used the polish & will use the cleaner again when necessary. Sorry i waited so long to use the cleaner. -
Question: Does it contain benzene?
Answer: I can not find the ingredients but there is a phone number. The number is 800~822~7359. I have been using this furniture polish over 40 and have been pleased with it. It was recommended at the furniture store where we bought our dining room furniture. -
Question: I have 2 conference room tables show every fingerprint. I am looking for a polish that will resist fingerprints & smudges. Is this the product for me?
Answer: I did not notice any difference between this polish and the one I bought at the $1 store. This may help >> Steps to Remove the Fingerprints: 1.Start by polishing the piece as normal. Commercial wood polish can be used or a homemade polish can be mixed by combing one cup of mineral oil with three drops of lemon extract. 2.Apply the polish to the piece with a soft cloth. Follow the grain of the wood while wiping with the soft cloth. Using a circular motion can result in swirls on the surface. 3.Sprinkle the freshly polished areas with corn starch. 4.Buff with a dry, soft cloth. The corn starch will remove the excess polish and fingerprints. -
Question: Does this product moisturize the wood?
Answer: I have antique wood furniture and this product did a good job of cleaning and polishing but it does not moisturize as well as some other products.
