- LIGHTER AND MORE POWERFUL – Durable lightweight frame improved with a smaller 1-3/4” trigger to handle pull range requiring only 7 oz. pressure to close the jaws. A stronger, more powerful magnet at the tip of the picker picks up small metal objects like pins, nails, keys, coins, etc. Slim design extends reach in tight places.
- A JAW DESIGNED WITH A PURPOSE - Easier to use with only one moving part. The 2 ½” rubber serrated surface of the stationary upper jaw helps hold and maintain grip on slippery objects. Curved bottom claw maintains proper alignment when closed with 2 ½ inches of smooth, serrated plastic surface for gripping larger lightweight items.
- FUNCTIONAL TIP - The tip of the lower claw features gripping teeth that interlock with the upper jaw to pick up thinner objects like paper or smaller items like pills that have been dropped on the floor. The metal hook tab is useful for pulling items such as clothing or blankets closer to you. The flat-edged tip is useful for pressing flat buttons or light switches.

Question: Is the 32 inch reacher actually that long? (It is odd that it is sold by the same companyfor a little less than the 26 inch reacher.)
Answer: It is 32 inches long, two inches is the handle. the rod is 30 inches. Your overall reach is 32 inches. I use both lengths and have them around the house where I may need them. The shorter one works better in some places than the longer one. They seem to be holding up well but do expect the line used in the mechanism to eventually wear out but not unreasonably so.
