Question: Does this come with the geared locking mechanism as pictured in the image?
Answer: No. The longer version (29.7 inch) comes with the gear locking mechanism and arm guard. The 24 inch/61 cm does not come with it. They need to update the sale information. I have both sizes, and gear locking mechanism comes with the larger one 29.7 inch/75cm. -
Question: Could you use this to open doors with a knob?
Answer: Only if it is a fairly loose knob, turns easily and is not too smooth to grip.
