Question: has anyone else noticed an increase in a fishy smell in their most recent batch?
Answer: Yes! I’ve been taking these for the last 6yrs and I just opened 2 bottles, I think both bottles have an expiration of 10/2023 and they are both horrid smelling. Straight up fishy/algae seaweed smell, with an overwhelming nasty taste too. My hands stink even after washing them from just holding the pill for a couple of seconds. I have never had an issue with these before! I wonder if the Sept/October 2023 expiration dates batches are bad? -
Question: How long do it take for you to usually get pregnant after taking pills
Answer: Taking prebatal vitamins will not increase your chances of getting pregnant, it just ensures you’re getting the right nutrients for yourself & the baby. -
Question: I’m confused! It’s says Folate and then (folic acid) in parenthesis. So, does it contain folate or folic acid since these 2 forms are very different?
Answer: The product contains folic acid. Each softgel contains 800 mcg of Folic acid which is equivalent to 1330 mcg of folate. -
Question: Is this consider a prenatal or a multi vitamin?
Answer: Both. Its sold as a prenatal, but it is also a multivitamin (all prenatals are multivitamins). My OB once told me that prenatals are the best multivitamin for any woman, even if you're not pregnant. -
Question: Is this softgel is kosher or halal
Answer: Nature Made Prenatal Multivitamin + 200 mg DHA Softgels are not kosher or halal, as the product contains pork gelatin. -

Answer: Each batch should have it's own expiration date.. -

Answer: The product does not promote growth of hair or nails. -
Question: Do these contain a laxative? Or have a laxative affect?
Answer: No, it's nutritional supplements, should not generate laxative effect. But it need refer to your actual body status if you determine to buy and eat. -

Answer: Well unfortunately, I've come to find that the gelatin is derived from porcine (pork) ...smh!
