Question: did anyone tried to se it for expell rat ?
Answer: YES! I have used it to deter rats, mice and other rodents. I soak a piece of wood or cotton balls in the Peppermint Oil and place them under counters, in closets, pantries, in access holes etc... It worked pretty well once I got the main family caught and disposed of, then I used Peppermint and other Ess Oils like Clove and Eucalyptus to keep them away. -

Answer: I bought it assuming it was food grade. I would say yes... -

Answer: No, It is not. Federal regulators state that a food or dietary supplement product intended for ingestion (defined as internal use; i.e. swallowing) must bear a food label with a Nutrition Facts box or a dietary supplement label with a Supplement Facts box, plus all appropriate serving information for that declared use. NOW® Solutions has chosen not to market its Essential Oils as foods or dietary supplements, and we cannot recommend using them internally while using aromatherapy labeling. -
Question: Is this a true essential oil or just an oil of peppermint? There is a difference.

Question: Does it actually work on repelling insects? What's the most effective way? put it in diffuser? Or spray bottle with water?
Answer: I use anywhere from 8 to 10 drops to the filtered water in my diffuser. Sometimes I add a drop or two of lime essential oil or eucalyptus essential oils. I ONLY use NOW brand oils in my diffuser ~ it’s the BEST -
Question: Ours came with a lid that says to press down and turn, but it won’t come open. Is there a trick, or did we get a defective lid that can’t be opened?
Answer: I think u got a bad cap. Try running it under hot water the put on table and press hard to turn and open
