Question: Based on the reviews it seems this product is either good or bad. Is it possible the problems have something to do with the water being hard or soft?
Answer: I doubt our issue of the smell of our laundry while using this detergent could be attributed to hard/soft water. We don't have hard water at all but this detergent left an awful, awful sour smell on our clothes. And it wasn't just certain laundry that smelled bad. It was adult clothes, baby clothes, sheets, and towels. After all of those things smelled terrible, I realized it was the detergent being used and not the clothes themselves or our water. As soon as I switched back to my homemade, unscented detergent, the smell was gone. I really wanted to love this stuff but I couldn't handle to smell that came along with it. -
Question: is the pod made with plastics or are there any plastics for dispersal in this product?
Answer: The pods are made from PVA, which is, in fact, a type of plastic. The representative from GG either does not know this ( ! ) or they are purposely misleading consumers. Further, PVA IS environmentally concerning. Google it and you will find lots of information about it. I'm not buying pods since researching the environmental impact of PVC. -
Question: Can pod be cut and use all or part in hand wash in sink?

Question: Can this be used on color and white chlothes or just whites?
Answer: Colors, whites, whatever you toss in there it will wash it just fin -
Question: Do these contain any form of formaldehyde ?
Answer: Not sure what they contain, but the new formula does not clean and smells awful and the company makes you pay for return shipping when they ship the wrong product. -

Answer: i don't think it will specifically "disinfect" laundry but as plain old soap and water destroys Covid-19, the same is true for plain old laundry soap. -
