Question: We have a front loading Samsung washer that is stinking up, will this be a good choice to spray inside the steel drum?
Answer: I tried 1 cup of ammonia on the hottest/longest cycle for the odor in my front load washer and it worked. Also make sure mechanics are not clogged with fibers preventing proper function and creating odor and unclean laundry situation. I now use 1/2 to 1 cup ammonia in each load to boost my detergent (Ecos). It remains odor free as long as the mechanics are not clogged. The washed laundry now smells fresh and clean. I also use hot water for my towels as the hot cycle seems to keep the washer clean. Soda and or vinegar did not resolve the situation I was having. -
Question: Would this work on a pair of jeans? If yes, how long will this keep them smelling fresh?
Answer: I use this like febreeze - I spray my sofa, rug, and throws. So, I think that it would freshen up jeans, how long - I'm not sure. -
Question: Is it safe to spray on clothing? The description only mentions bedding, pets,etc.
Answer: Yes it is. It's basically a "green" febreeze. -
Question: Can this be used on Code S fabric?
Answer: I am not sure what a Code S fabric is but I would test it on a spot that wasn't in an obvious place....I have used it all though my house, rugs, tile whatever and have not had one problem. I love the fresh citrus smell too -
Question: Will this work on smelly pillows?
Answer: I have not found anything that it did not work on. But a pillow should be washed. If it is not washable I would buy a new pillow. -
Question: Would this product work on strongly musty smelling clothes?
Answer: You can use ammonia, borax, or a generous amount of baking soda in the wash cycle if the garments are washable. If not, hang the garments outdoors in the sun for several hours. The ozone in the air will remove the smell. -
Question: Do you think this would be a good choice to remove a musty smell from a camper?
Answer: This product works wonderful on fabric surfaces. To remove the musty smell you need to wash all hard surfaces with diluted bleach as it could be mold you can not see. The Bac-Out can be used on all fabric surfaces and be sure to saturate cushions. If you have curtains and they can be washed use white vinegar in the wash water. -
Question: Will it get rid of chemical air freshener in car?
Answer: Probably not, it is a very faint scent that smells like rosemary and a little lemon peel . It is great for clothes though! -
Question: What do they mean by lemon thyme fragrance? Is it essential oil or fragrance?
Answer: I did not purchase this product however I purchaed the biokleen carpet cleaner, its an awesome clean and smells so good! I will be purchasing more BioKleen products!
