Overview |
Includes four replacement rubber tips for canes, shower benches, walkers, etc. Molded rubber tips include metal ring to prevent wear. Designed for Walkers & Commodes only, not intended to be used on other medical devices and household items including but not limited to Crutches. To ensure proper fit take tip off of the bottom leg of either Walker or Commode and measure outer diameter of the bottom leg tubing. If the measurement is 1” then use our model #T40100 tips, if 1 1/8” then use our model #T40118 tips. For proper installation remove lower leg tubes and remove worn tip. Place replacement tips on hard flat surface and start inserting tube on an angle before straightening while simultaneously pushing down. |
Customer Questions & Answers

Question: If used on the back 2 legs of a (2-front wheel walker) will the walker glide easily- especially when using outdoors?
Answer: I purchased these to replace two missing tips on the legs of a toilet seat riser (commode), and wanted them to grip, which they did. They seem to be designed for that, so I'd say they would slide, but not easily. But again, I was not using them on a walker. Hope this response is helpful. -
Question: Can you put the tennis ball glides over these?
Answer: I used the tips on a shower chair. I don’t think tennis balls would work in the shower -
Question: Can these be used on a walking cane?
Answer: I bought these for a walker, but see no reason at all why they would not work on a cane as long as the diameter is correct. -
Question: Are these actually 6 inches?
Answer: no. more like two inches tall. be sure to order the right dia. too . Cecil Chester -
Question: Can these be used on an ironing board?
Answer: These tips are intended and should be used with Walkers & Commodes only. Please check with the ironing board manufacturer to find the appropriate tip. -
Question: is this price for one thing?
Answer: Price for one set of 4. -
Question: Are these 1" inside the tip or the outside dimensions? I have 1" diameter shower chair legs.
Answer: They fit perfectly on the 1" legs, and they have the flat "target" treads on the bottoms needed to keep the chair/walker/commode from scooting. -
