Answer: Carteri has a more lemon/citrus scent and is therapeutically used for emotional support in times of grief or depression. Question: I know you shouldn't swallow this but would it be okay to add a drop to coconut oil for oil pulling, then spit out after? trying it for cavities.
Answer: you can add clove to coconut oil for brushing teeth or massaging gums using a very small amount, but be careful with oil pulling, as clove oil burns. try it with just a drop at first. -
Question: In what ways can I use Frankincense (is your brand ingestible?), also what would be the reason to buy the organic over the non organic? Thank you :)
Answer: I don't know if this one is ingestible, but I purchased it and I apply to skin or to the bottom of my feet. The reason I buy organic oils is because so many non organic oils use a chemical process to extract the oils. I want only pure non chemical oils. The quality of essential oils can vary greatly from one brand to another. Hope this helps. -
Question: Does this smell like Christmas?
Answer: For me, the oil does smell like pine. I do not find it to smell "fake". I am using it in a couple of Christmas blend recipes that I found on the internet. Honestly, I have not diffused it alone but I plan to give it a try. Overall, I am pleased with the scent. -
Question: Which type of Frankincense is better for removing brown skin spots, Frereana,Serrata or Cartieri?
Answer: I really don't know but I will try it on some of the brown spots I have - I do know it stops cold sores (herpes simplex) dead in its tracks- it works amazingly - also when my friend had a cokd sore he used it right at the very beginning and it never develops to a full blown cold sore. -
Question: Hi. I'm looking for a pine scented essential oil that will give me that 'Christmas tree' pine scent. Does this smell like a pine tree scent?

Question: I heard this works for brown spots.So how do I use it? Do I add it full strength or do you always water it down? If so, with what?
Answer: Hi Mary, Thank you for asking! We do recommend diluting this with a carrier oil for topical application. Some of our favorites are Grapeseed, Almond, and Fractionated Coconut oil. For topical application to the face we would recommend a 1% dilution (3 drops Frankincense to 2 teaspoons of carrier oil). Answer: The Botanical Name is Abies sibirica I believe balsam fir is Abies balsamea, though I think the therapeutic properties for both are similar. -
