Question: What settings deliver 4-khz carrier frequency, beat frequency of 80–160 hz and intensity of less than 33 ma? i don't know how to set this up.
Answer: The 4mhz carrier frequency is locked in at any settings. When dealing with inflammation I point the ratings knob at the first digit of 150, this gives about 100 hz beat frequency. Sometimes when a muscle is tight, but inflammation is not a problem, I will set the frequency at a much lower setting to pulse the muscle.. Personally I tend to set the amplitude knob to maximum, because I have a high pain tolerance. Most people should start the amplitude setting at a level high enough to feel it working, but low enough to be comfortable. After a couple minutes you can increase the setting. The amplitude varies greatly depending upon if it is plugged in, or just running off the 9 volt battery. I always use mine plugged in. -

Question: Do you sell one with a higher fequency? Higher than 150hz.
Answer: The reason for a higher frequency is to get more depth. However, unlike a TENS unit and interferential uses a 4000 hertz carrier frequency, as well as a variable higher rate to get a beet frequency. It is the 4000 hertz carrier that allows the interferential unit to treat much deeper than any TENS unit. I set the beet frequency at 100 to reduce inflammation, and at lower rates to either warm up or rehab a muscle. -

Answer: No. It is a 2 channel unit, that you can use up to 4 pads with. -

Answer: No it does not, but it works awesome, and was the unit my chiropractor recommended. Price is descent also -
Question: How long should you use the unit in one sitting?
Answer: Most medical people recommend ten minutes or less. Be sure to read the instruction booklet - it tells you how high to set the current. -

Question: As a result of a broken hip, I have titanium rods and screws in my hip. Can I use this in the vicinity of the hardware?
Answer: Depends on where you want to use it, based on clinical experience there's always the possibility of having any type of unit used in conjunction with patients that have metal/hardware in their body, to heat up from the inside out. Something I warn patients about and have them sign off that they know there's always that possibility. If you can, you may be better suited for other modalities if you've not found some already. Hope you recover/feel better quickly. -
Question: Can a rechargeable lithium 9v battery be used instead of a ni-cad 9volt battery?
Answer: I would guess that it can- the device doesn't know the format of the battery, just that it's getting current. -
Question: hello. I bought this some months ago, but the adapter is not working anymore. how can I get a new one. on battery it is not the same.
Answer: Check with the manufacture,I'm sure they sell them.
