Answer: Yes, but you won't have to...it ships with the head separate from the handle. -
Question: Are they straw bristles or plastic/synthetic like the black-bristled brooms?
Answer: I just went to check, they feel like straw, but they could be plastic, very strange, but I love this broom, it works great -
Question: Is the broom only for inside or outside sweeeping?
Answer: This is my outside broom. I hang it on a peg and use it for sweeping snow, debris, etc. off my walks and driveways. However, it is a good quality broom and could be used inside as well. -
Question: Is the broom handle made of wood?
Answer: The 47" handle is made of steel. The head is made of polypropylene. -
Question: How long is the handle?
Answer: The handle is normal length, the quality of the broom itself is not....spend a little more and get a better broom. -

Answer: The Broom Head is approximately 11-12 inches wide...after normal usage. -
