    • Question: Will this work with a Verizon wireless home phone box? It has 2 jacks on the back and phones must be plugged in directly.

      Answer: I have a wireless home phone box with 2 phone jacks in the back. It should work just fine.
    • Question: How loud is the incoming call ringer? Our problem is that my mother doesn’t hear the phone ring unless she is close by

      Answer: Really loud. I believe it is adjustable as well.
    • Question: Does it ring until it's picked up or does it stop ringing after so many times?

      Answer: It will keep ringing until the caller hangs up.
    • Question: Does this phone work in portugal

      Answer: I do not know. It has a power supply for 120VAC with 60Hz for USA. I found other models for UK and yet others for Europe. If you truly like this one, you my want to go on EM web page to see if their is a Euro model. I loved a model for UK, but it was only with UK connectors and 50hz of UK, so I went with this one. My disappointment of this model vs. UK model was that UK model had a built in digital display for caller ID. I had to buy another $45 add-on digital display to go in connection with this. Otherwise, huge buttons are great, volume adjustment is great, and the pre-programmable buttons help. This is in use at my Mom's residence for her to be able to better communicate with us. She is in her mid 80's and is hard of hearing. We have solid conversations now and she remembers them too - because she hers and understands the discussions. Great product

      Answer: Yes, this phone will work with LifeLine.
    • Question: Does anyone know if the light is on when phone is off the hook?

      Answer: I don't believe so. The light at the bottom of the phone is a flashing incoming ring indicator.
    • Question: can this phone be mounted on the wall?

      Answer: Good morning. Yes this can be a wall mounted phone or a desk phone. Thank you.
    • Question: Will phone work during electrical power outage?

      Answer: It will not work during a power outage if your phone service comes to you through any device that has to have a functioning power supply to operate. ( Computer, modem, router, etc.)
    • Question: does it have a headset jack?

      Answer: No this phone does not have a headset jack.

    Works Really Well
    I have a relative who's hearing has gotten progressively worse, and have tried 3 or 4 different amplified telephones. This is the first one that has been truly satisfactory. It has a very wide range of volume settings which are completely adjustable, and the highest setting is really loud. People on the other end also mention that the call comes through loud and clear. Adjustable ringer volume loud to very loud with flashing light call alert. Handset is easy to grip for anyone with small or weak hands. Very reasonably priced for what you get.
