Question: Is the methyl form of vitamin b12
Answer: Methyl degrades quickly so you can't be sure of the strength you're getting. Unless you have a reason for needing the methylated version, MTHF gene, smoker, Dr Gregers research suggests cyano is a better bet. Not enough cyanide to have adverse effect -
Question: Will this help with b12 deficiency?
Answer: Ask your doctor to write a prescription. Insurance may cover cost. This product, for me, provided "zero" energy boost. I also have B12 in another form that for me works better, but slow. I thought this might be faster. If you noticed, manufacturer dodged the question about product testing and how fast you should feel something ( ie like coffee caffeine most people feel when it kicks in). Even food products go through testing. So saying this isn't tested because it is a food, leaves me wondering just who at the company attempted to answer the question. -
