      Answer: Designed to fit most standard 7/8 walking can
    • Question: 1. what are the batteries and how long do they last? 2. is there an off switch?

      Answer: It requires 3 AAA batteries. It will last 8-10hours. There is no switch. The light will turn on while in dark areas, also, you have to tap the tip while you are walking. Automatic turn off after 15seconds. Hope that helps.
    • Question: If I use it with a clear plastic cane, will it illuminate the whole thing?

      Answer: Not positive but I doubt it. The top that fits into the cane is not illuminated
